La FD8161 de Vivotek es una cámara megapixel de red profesional de domo fijo con calidad de imagen excepcional y eficiencia en uso de ancho de banda.

Adecuada para espacios abiertos como entradas de edificios y aeropuertos, o aplicaciones que requieran precisión en reconocimiento facial o números de placas.Con un sensor de 2-Megapixeles, esta cámara es capaz de proveer cobertura amplia con los mejores detalles. Con un campo de visión 6 veces mayor que una cámara VGA, la FD8161 reduce enormemente el número de cámaras a instalar.

La FD8161 soporta la tecnología de compresión H.264, reduciendo drásticamente un 90% el tamaño de archivos. La función de recorte remueve información innecesaria y transmite sólo el área designada para optimizar ancho de banda y almacenamiento, el PTZ electrónico (ePTZ) permite enfocar acercamientos en diferentes áreas de la imagen sin mover la cámara físicamente.

Usando los streams simultáneos, los cuales transmiten diferentes resoluciones simultáneamente para visualizar en diferentes plataformas, la FD8161 es capaz de cubrir diversas necesidades y limitantes de ancho de banda.

Está equipada con iluminadores infra-rojos que cubren hasta 15 metros y proveen gran claridad y contraste las 24 horas del día. Otras características avanzadas incluyen un sensor PIR (Infra-rojo Pasivo), mecanismo de 3-ejes para una instalación flexible, 802.3af PoE, ranura de tarjetas SD/SDHC, detección de bloqueo y audio de 2 vías.
